What a pleasure this booklet is, presented by Gaetano (Nino) Dellisanti and Francesco Dessì.
It's all here: the quality of the drawing, the precision of the technique, the spirit of the kata, an exceptional rendering of attitudes and movement. I even find a certain dramatic intensity that allows us to understand the profound nature of ken-jutsu.
To obtain such a result it is not enough to be an excellent draftsman. One must know and master perfectly the technique to control every detail of the proposed action; take into account relative distance (maai) to preserve the logic of the kata, etc.
Francesco Dessì and Gaetano (Nino) Dellisanti are long-standing and excellent practitioners.
The simple and clear explanations do not distract us from the essentials. The Japanese terms and their meaning, the presentation of the perfectly named series enhance the attractiveness of the study material.
Thanks to our two friends for offering this book to as many people as possible, which will without doubt accompany all practitioners on the path of the "Way".
